ABOUT ME
Charlotte Crabbe

Ever since I accepted Christ I always had a passion to let people know what Christ did in my life. During my senior year at the University of Houston I was asked if money wasn't an issue what would I want to do for a living and I answered youth ministry.

As a result of that answer and a class I was taking at church I felt a strong motivation to seriously consider going into full time ministry. In November of 2005 I made the decision to go into ministry.

It was a scary thought to consider going into full-time ministry and moving far away from my family and friends. But the story of Abraham and him leaving all he knows without any sense of direction except God telling him to “GO,” showed me that this is what I needed to do.

“Then the Lord told Abram, “Leave your country, your relatives, and your father’s house, and go to the land that I will show you.” Gen. 12:1 “So Abram departed as the Lord instructed him.” Gen 12:4a

For me to make a decision I always want all the details but this was different. All God gave me was a “GO,” and I decided to trust Him. I am humbled to be a part of introducing people to Jesus and walk with them in their faith journey.

MY ROLE
The Republic of South Africa (RSA) after apartheid has become a leading economic and political power on the continent of Africa. With new opportunities a burgeoning Black middle-class has emerged. Although the country has overcome the clutches of apartheid, RSA faces the growing issues of corruption, crime and HIV/AIDS.

Our organization will partner with South Africa Campus Crusade for Christ to reach South African emerging leaders.

As a full-time missionary in Cape Town, South Africa my responsibilities will include teaching a character curriculum in the community with a focus on teen girls, planning events that help develop Christ-centered leaders and serving on a college campus to help launch a campus ministry.

"Charlotte's October 2014 Missions Update"

Hi Friends,

I hope you are enjoying your weekend. This month, we have had different opportunities to share the love of Jesus and be developed as leaders. I've attached few pictures from two field trips and the Global Leadership Summit. Would you join me in praying for our ministry this week?

Monday/Tuesday: We will be showing a film about Jesus to 120 8th graders. Please pray for our students and teachers.

Tuesday: I will be taking two girls that are in their last year of high school to visit a college campus. They have already passed the date to register for college but we are hoping we can find out more information about the application process and see if they can apply late.

Wednesday: I will be teaching our last Bible Study for this year at the college campus and talking with some of the ladies I have been mentoring about becoming leaders in the campus ministry.

Friday: Our teen girls Bible Study will meet.

Saturday: A missions team from Dallas and Little Rock arrives for a two week outreach. Please pray for peace and safe travel.

Thanks,

--
